LTC Worldwide dispose of DTC to Christeyns UK, Bradford-based laundry chemical manufacturer.

Dry Cleaning Technology Centre, (DTC), currently located in Ilkley, was set up by Richard Neale in 1988 as part of LTC & DTC Limited, of which Neale is Chairman. The company handles independent fault analysis for dry cleaning complaints, whereby items which are subject to complaint are sent to DTC for detailed investigation and reporting.   DTC will continue to operate totally independently of Christeyns but will move to Bradford in the coming months and operate from the Christeyns site on Rutland Street.

Liz Kildunne, Technical Manager at Christeyns says the acquisition will add another string to the Christeyns’ bow and strengthen its position in the specialist dry cleaning sector. “DTC is a perfect fit for Christeyns,’” she continued. “The expertise of the DTC team is unquestionable, providing a crucial service within the industry which we at Christeyns are committed to supporting.”

Arianna Hunter, who has over 17 years experience in the laundry fault-finding business and Stacey King, a first class honours degree chemist, will head up the DTC team with Richard Neale remaining involved in a consultancy capacity for 12 months. The strong traditions and ethics held by DTC will continue, along with its name and brand.

“I am delighted to hand over DTC to Christeyns, who as a market leader in its sector, are well respected for providing excellent products and services. The team at Christeyns understand the importance of the services DTC offers and the reputation that we have built up over the years,“ commented Neale.

LTC & DTC Limited trading as Laundry Technology Centre and recently re-branded as LTC Worldwide, remain an independent organisation wholly owned and operated by Steve Anderton, Stuart Boyd and Richard Neale and this is unaffected by this change.
